NZCT Grant Helps Deliver Compassionate Care When It Matters Most

Thank you New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) for granting funds towards our Clinical Lead for Palliative Care role at Nelson Tasman Hospice. This vital role helps ensure patients and whānau receive safe, compassionate, and well-coordinated palliative care across our region.

Our Clinical Lead, Emily, makes a meaningful difference by providing guidance for the hospice clinical team, as well as managing complex care planning, and consistent standards of practice. With this leadership in place, nurses and allied health staff are better supported to respond confidently to the changing needs of people living with life-limiting illness, whether care is provided in the hospice, at home, or in the wider community.

This grant strengthens frontline care and improves continuity of care for patients and families at some of the most important and challenging times in their lives.
