Regular donations huge help

Hospice supporter Neil Seagar wants to encourage other donors. Neil’s wife of 44 years, Liz, died in hospice care two years ago. He now gives $20 from his pension every week.

Neil says he appreciated hospice’s holistic approach to care and the fact that he was always considered and included. “I was really annoyed to find the Government doesn’t fully fund hospice care.

“Hospice was great – the way they helped look after Liz and also the fact they were looking after me as well; the volunteers who give up their time and come in, the nurses, the doctor – she was an amazing person.”

Regular donations such as Neil’s help give us confidence in budgeting. And with his gift, he is paying it forward and supporting other members of our community who have received a terminal diagnosis. If you would like to donate, please hit the blue button below.
