NBS our first corporate sponsor
NBS has signed a generous new sponsorship deal with us at Hospice.
It’s our first corporate sponsor to step up for 2020.
NBS also donated funds for the build of the new hospice in 2019 and has now signed a two-year partnership to help boost its funding.
NBS chief executive Tony Cadigan says the NBS team prides itself on giving back to the local community, and supporting the not-for-profit sector is what helps to set them apart from other financial institutions.
“The Hospice is such a deserving organisation, it provides a much-needed and valuable caring service for individuals and their families at what is often one of the most difficult times of their lives. We have a huge amount of respect for their work, and the support they provide in the community,” says Tony.
Hospice chief executive Frans Dellebeke said he was delighted NBS had made an ongoing financial commitment for the next few years.
“We’re a homegrown organisation, by and for the people of the Nelson Tasman region so it’s wonderful to have the support of NBS, another organisation established to serve the people of this region.
“The Hospice has a shortfall in funding of more than $2 million each year so we’re hugely appreciative of donations and sponsorships that reduce the amount that we need to fundraise.”
Tony said NBS would also help promote our upcoming annual Hospice Awareness Week campaign in May.
