This syringe Driver Workshop is for Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses Registered Nurses employed by Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora and delivered onsite at Nelson Hospital.
Please note: This workshop is NOT suitable for Registered Nurses & Enrolled Nurses working in Aged Residential Care (ARC) as it is a different learning platform and will not be the right competency you require for your workplace.
This syringe driver workshop provides the knowledge and practical skills required to manage a syringe driver in the practice setting and a knowledge of medicines for end of life symptom management. A pre-eLearning package is required prior to the workshop and will be emailed to you on registration from education@nelsonhospice.org.nz . * Please check your spam folder if you do not receive the email and save as “safe sender”. Once you have completed the pre-eLearning, please send a copy of your certificate via email to education@nelsonhospice.org.nz
