Summit Keir Wilkinson Memorial Golf Tournament 2026

This year marked the fifth Summit Keir Wilkinson Memorial Golf Tournament which took place on Friday 18^th September, at the Nelson Golf Club, with 37 teams teeing off for a great cause: supporting the Nelson Tasman Hospice. It was a full day of fun, friendly competition, and an exciting auction, all raising an incredible $81,904!

Since it started in 2022, this heartfelt event has now raised over $370,000 for Nelson Tasman Hospice.

With blue skies and great company all around, it was a fantastic Friday. The golfers were well looked after with goodie bags for each team and delicious fish burgers, bacon butties, steaks, chicken kebabs, beef burgers and a sausage sizzle dotted all the way around the course thanks to sponsors E’stel Water, Sealords, New World Motueka, Bidfood, Placemakers, Scott Construction and Lion Beverages.

Each hole on the golf course was sponsored by local businesses keen to support Nelson Tasman Hospice and these sponsorships added to the impressive total raised. Our hole sponsors in 2026 were: Summit Real Estate, Summit Stoke, Landscape Transformers, NTAY Contracting, Spark, Fitzgerald Construction, Nelson Interiors/Neltech,  Forsyth Barr, The Palms Motel, Coman Construction, Kiwi Journeys, New World Stoke, Pak n Save, Bob Pugh Builders, Orange Joinery, MS Ford, Brown and Associates, Craigs Investment Partners, Summit Richmond, Mediaworks, Noel Leeming. Many of these sponsors have been part of the tournament every year and we are very thankful for their support.

Datacom took out the top spot as winning team—well done!

The team prizes this year were generously donated by: Brown and Associates, PING Golf, Summit Real Estate, Spark, NBS, Caythorpe Wines, Total Golf, Tasman Mako and Goldpine.

Some amazing auction prizes were on offer (Auction Items 2026) and there were awesome raffles to be won all kindly donated by local businesses such as: Silky Otter, Nelson Classic Car Museum, Bunnings Warehouse, Flora Flora, Chalida Massage Therapy, Point Six Hair, Marsden Valley Café and more!
