The festive season is approaching quickly, and Trees of Remembrance will be popping up across…
Gardener extraordinaire needed
We are looking for a volunteer to help with maintaining the beautiful landscaped gardens we have at hospice.
We need a team of people to cherish the trees that the public has donated and to generally help prioritise all the weeding, leaf-clearing, feeding etc needed to keep our gardens tranquil.
We had a great gardening team at the old hospice site – and some of them may be able to come to our new facility (one year old now) in Stoke. But we need more general gardening volunteers, as well as someone with green fingers to be the groundsperson.
We had a contract with a landscape company, but discontinuing that is one of our cost savings in the new Covid-19 era.
Can you help? Please email our Volunteer Co-ordinator Krisca Gould krisca.gould@nelsonhospice.org.nz or call her on (03) 546 3912.
