Cycling the length of the country for hospice

Richmond landscaper Jos Roosendaal is cycling the length of the country to raise money for Nelson Tasman Hospice.

In his own words:

“I’m taking on the challenge to cycle 3000km – the length of New Zealand – and raising much-needed money for Nelson Tasman Hospice at the same time.

“I only took up mountain biking last year so doing the Tour Aotearoa brevet (a set distance within a set time-frame of 10 – 30 days) will be tough. But I have cycled all my life since I was a three-year-old in Holland so I should be able to manage the 30 days of 100km/day distance.

“I’ve been fitting in training around my landscaping work ahead of the start date of February 21 this year.

I know my friends and business colleagues will support me. Please donate to this great cause.”
