Terms and Conditions

The Ultimate Roofing Gutter Raffle is organised by Ultimate Roofing in partnership with Waimea Scaffolding, Freeman Roofing, and Axel Construction with all proceeds to Nelson Tasman Hospice.

Prize Details

1. The prize consists of a free residential gutter removal and replacement package valued at standard market rates.
2. The prize includes:
   • Removal of existing external gutters (where applicable).
   • Supply and installation of up to 50 metres of Freeman Roofing Quad or Box Gutter.
   • Supply and installation of new Colorsteel downpipes.
   • Scaffolding required for the works, supplied by Waimea Scaffolding.
3. The prize is valid for a single-storey residential property only.
4. The winner may nominate their own property or another residential property within the eligible region, subject to the property owner’s consent.
5. The total prize value is limited to the scope outlined above.

Eligibility

1. The raffle is open to residents of the Nelson Tasman region.
2. The property where the work is to be completed must be located within the Nelson, Atawhai, Wakefield, and Motueka region. Properties located in Golden Bay/Tākaka are excluded.
3. The winner must be aged 18 years or older.

4. Employees of participating partner businesses are excluded from raffle entry. Friends and family members of those employees are eligible to enter.

Exclusions

The prize does not include:

• Internal box gutters or internal gutter systems.
• Klass fascia replacement or repairs.
• Multi-storey properties.
• Structural repairs or building work unrelated to gutter replacement.
• Additional guttering or downpipe lengths exceeding the included 50 metres.

Additional Costs

1. The prize is based on standard installation conditions.
2. If the winning property requires additional work outside the specified prize scope, the winner will be provided with a quote and may choose to proceed at their own cost.
3. Additional costs may apply where:
   • Guttering exceeds 50 metres.
   • Site access is difficult or restricted.
   • Additional scaffolding is required.
   • Existing structures require repair or modification before installation.
   • The property falls outside standard installation parameters.

Prize Conditions

1. The prize is not redeemable for cash.
2. The prize is non-transferable, except that the winner may nominate another eligible residential property within the Nelson, Atawhai, Wakefield, and Motueka region. Properties located in Golden Bay/Tākaka are excluded.
3. No substitutions will be provided for any portion of the prize.
4. Work must be scheduled and completed within a reasonable timeframe agreed upon by the prize partners.
5. If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, a redraw may occur.

Draw and Notification

1. Sales of raffle tickets start 1st September 2026 and ends Wednesday 7^th October 2026 and the winner will be drawn on Monday 12^th October 2026.
2. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact details provided at the time of ticket purchase.
3. The organisers reserve the right to verify the winner’s eligibility and the suitability of the nominated property before awarding the prize.

Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities, including photographs, video, and social media content relating to the raffle and prize installation, without additional compensation.

Liability

1. The Promoter and partnering businesses accept no responsibility for entries not received for any reason.
2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary.
3. To the extent permitted by law, Ultimate Roofing, Waimea Scaffolding, Freeman Roofing, Axel Construction, and Nelson Tasman Hospice shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the raffle or acceptance of the prize.

Charitable Purpose

All proceeds from the Ultimate Roofing Gutter Raffle will be donated to Nelson Tasman Hospice to support the provision of free hospice services throughout the Nelson Tasman region.

By purchasing a raffle ticket, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
