Farmers Christmas campaign begins
The annual Farmers Christmas campaign in support of hospice has begun. This year they have released a video of a patient story.
Last year, the two local stores – Richmond and Nelson central – raised $22,366. That was more than $5000 more than the previous year. The money goes towards our annual operating costs (we are partially funded by the DHB but have a shortfall that we need to fundraise of more than $1 million each year).
People can buy a $10 bauble (every cent goes to hospice), put a card on the Tree of Remembrance or donate at the till with purchase.
