hospice affirms life ~ living every moment
a role of significance in a truly priceless organisation
Nelson Tasman Hospice has an army of talented and committed individuals working in the wider community every day, touching multiple lives in so many ways. The organisation needs to generate sufficient funding each year to continue to provide our services to the community free of charge.
Based at our new purpose built, state of the art facility in Suffolk Road, Stoke, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our Fundraising and Marketing team. Assisting with the planning and implementation of our fundraising strategy, your exceptional organisational skills, professional phone manner and eye for detail will have you standing out head and shoulders above the rest.
While the role will require some hours on evenings and weekends for events, being 0.75 FTE will ensure a good work life balance and flexibility. Supporting the overall fundraising and marketing programme, the focus of the role will be fundraising activities, including donor/sponsor acquisition/prospecting, event planning/support, online fundraising initiatives, direct marketing, regular giving, supporter stewardship, grant writing and legacy marketing.
You will be a candidate of the highest calibre, with the self-belief to deliver results combined with the humility to appreciate the privilege of working for such a meaningful cause. You will be equally happy working autonomously and within a team and while flexibility and drive are required, a hard-working and proactive individual will thrive while gaining valuable fundraising experience and a sense of purpose.
This is your opportunity to make a tangible difference to a well-loved organisation and the community it serves.
If you’re inspired to join an energetic and supportive team at a special time we’d love to hear from you. A copy of the role description is available here Role Description Fundraiser July2019
