Nelson Tasman Region Hospice provides a variety of specialist care services for people who have a life-limiting illness – supporting them, their families and carers through illness, death and bereavement. Our services are provided at no charge to patients and their families, and are available to everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, culture and gender. Care is provided to people in their own homes, aged care facilities and in the Hospice In-patient Unit.

To assist patients to make the most of the life that remains and to ensure that patients die comfortably, with dignity and in the place of their choice. To provide support and care for the family/whānau and close friends during the patient’s illness and in bereavement.
