Midwinter Christmas Dinner
The place to go on a cold winter’s night from the Hospice point of view is Trailways!
We wish to thank Gary Munro and his staff for an extraordinary night. Trailways did us proud with wonderful ambiance and excellent food.
We were fortunate to have the band Snafu who had us all up and dancing – they can be contacted on 027 468 9610. The Rock & Rollers gave an energetic and delightful rendition of the rock-n-roll – contact John Larkin on 544 1468 if you want to join them. And Sabina’s belly dancers added a wonderful, warm oriental feel to the evening – view Sabina’s website or contact Raeonie on 021 130 9462.
We thank everyone who contributed to making it such a special night!
The Nelson Hospice wishes to recognise the work of the Classic Motoring Society for their Charity Car Parade held recently and the Three Gs for their performances
It was a most successful event. We at the Hospice are very grateful for their
continued support and the support given to the Classic Motoring Society
by the
Nelson Police, and the Stoke and Richmond Volunteer Fire Brigades for
their
special efforts with the collections from the public along the way.
Three Gs
The Nelson Hospice wishes to recognise the performances of the Three Gs which over the years have raised money for the Nelson Hospice. George Rutledge has a magnificent voice and it is a pleasure to hear clearly the words that he sings with such professionalism.
I believe that very few singers today can produce the quality of voice and enunciation. We are very fortunate to have him in our community.
The accompanying band is always wonderful with Ga’bor at the helm. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon in the Nelson School of Music with such professionals!
