Welcome to the Nelson Region Hospice Trust

To care always
Atawhaihia Manaakihia Mō Ake Tonu

It is our aim to deliver to you and your family, individualized Hospice palliative care services which are established in a partnership of trust with each patient and his or her family-whanau. This is your journey- you make the choices and our role is to empower and support you.

We provide specialist and compassionate care at our Hospice Unit and in the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Hospice provides a range of holistic services and programmes to meet the physical, psychological, spiritual and cultural needs of patients and their families-whanau. Referrals can come from GPs and other health providers or through self referral.

The Nelson Region Hospice's calendar features a range of events and activities from great community fundraising initiatives to educational courses for personnel involved in the provision of primary and secondary services.
