We have just established a volunteer bed delivery service for Motueka.  As well as deliver/collect electric beds, the volunteers take out oxygen concentrators.  While Nelson has a van and hoist for these expensive items of equipment, the Motueka volunteers use their own utes or trailers.   It is very easy to damage equipment by transporting it this way. Motueka would therefore love to receive:

Electric Lazyboys.  The few electric lazyboys available to patients in Motueka are very old and almost past their use-by date.  New chairs – or even one - would be very welcome.  Fundraising for a chair might make a good project for a community group.

CD/radio players.  For patients and families to use in the Inpatient Unit.

Photocopying paper - (ongoing staple but it needs to be  80gm weight to fit our copier.) Cost from $5 per ream.

Postage Paid Envelopes (also an ongoing staple) – Cost depends upon amount purchased.
